This year, Greenaway attended our very first Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo at the Penrith Panther’s club. We had an amazing turn out and Paul, Wendy, Belinda, and Olivia loved meeting everyone and talking about all the exciting things we have happening at Greenaway Sediment Control.
If you aren’t familiar with the Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo, it’s definitely something you should keep in mind for next year. It’s a completely free event (free entry and free parking), and there’s tons of different companies showing off new products, machines, services, and a ton of giveaways. Whether you’re interested in buying or you just want a fun day out with the family, the Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo is definitely worth a visit!
Speaking of giveaways, Greenaway hosted our very own giveaway for a $250 gift voucher to BCF, Boating, Camping, and Fishing– something that we thought anyone could find a good use for! Brandon from Brandon’s Turf Services is the lucky winner of our giveaway! Thank you Brandon and everyone else who entered, for stopping by our booth, sharing your details with us and entering our business card giveaway!
Greenaway was featured in multiple spots throughout the Diesel, Dirt and Turf Expo, one being on the Ditch Witch lot outside. Greenaway uses a Ditch Witch machine to install our silt fences, so it was the perfect collaboration. One of our machines was displayed installing silt fence. This allowed potential clients to see the silt fencing first-hand and get a better understanding of the quality that they could expect when ordering silt fence and getting it installed by Greenaway.
Our main booth was the Greenaway Sediment Control booth located inside. At our booth, we loaded it up with tons of information regarding our services and the importance of sediment control. We highlighted the importance of Hi-Vis and Printed Silt Fencing for both house sites and civil sites and all the benefits they can have. We talked to a lot of individuals in both those areas in the building industry, but we also talked to a lot of people from a wide range of different backgrounds and services and how silt fence can really benefit their business.
As posted last week, we got notice that the EPA and council are going through a erosion and sediment control blitz. We received more information from the “Get the Site Right” initiative later last week, so we were able to share that information with other individuals in the industry throughout the expo and discuss the importance of having the proper sediment control on work sites if they want to avoid getting fined.
